Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Clinical Coding Auditors to join the Coding & Casemix team.

About the Role:
Northern Health’s innovative and supportive Coding & Casemix team is seeking a dedicated and experienced HIM Clinical Coder to join our team!
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality and NWAU optimisation of patient records across a varied Casemix.
Provide feedback, training and education to both clinical and coding staff.
There is an opportunity to undertake Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) activities as part of the role without the need to work on the wards, as NH has an innovative way of engaging with clinicians further enhancing your skills and career!

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical coding
  • Previous auditing experience is highly favorable.
  • Proficiency with the Solventum Codefinder and thorough knowledge of Australian Coding Standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
