Every patient counts - adding value, efficiency & transparency through accurate health data collection

The Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) is pleased to release a new webinar series as part of its educational offering for local and international health professionals. 

The series is being introduced as an extension of the Activity Based Funding Conference series, where a collection of dynamic webinars are set to be delivered over the next 12 months.

 

The live webinars will provide health professionals with the opportunity to engage directly with IHPA senior leaders and technical advisors in an extended Q&A session, to learn more about how their work supports pricing and funding of public hospital services in Australia.

 

Session five

This session will explore the processes involved with data collection, including the National Benchmarking Portal, how it is informed by the National Hospital Cost Data Collection, and the responsibilities and relationships between the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority, Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) and the jurisdictions.
