The Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) is pleased to release a new webinar series as part of its educational offering for local and international health professionals. 

The series is being introduced as an extension of the Activity Based Funding Conference series, where a collection of dynamic webinars are set to be delivered over the next 12 months.
 
The live webinars will provide health professionals with the opportunity to engage directly with IHPA senior leaders and technical advisors in an extended Q&A session, to learn more about how their work supports pricing and funding of public hospital services in Australia.

Insight into patient costing data - The interplay between the standards, National Hospital Cost Data Collection and improved accuracy in pricing

This session explores patient hospital costing in relation to the National Hospital Cost Data Collection, including IHPA's methodology, the use of clinical tools, the key differences between public and private collections, and how IHPA prepares, uses and assesses cost and activity data for benchmarking.

Learn more about costing study processes, current and anticipated refinements to the Australian Hospital Costing Standards, and how your role enables consistent cost data collections.
