About the Role
Are you passionate about clinical coding, data integrity and making a real impact in healthcare? As a Coding & Documentation Auditor at Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), you’ll play a key role in auditing clinical documentation and ICD-10-AM/ACHI coding to ensure compliance with national and state standards. You'll help shape the quality of our coded data through continual audit activity, contributing directly to accurate Activity Based Funding (ABF) outcomes and timely data submissions.
In this engaging role, you’ll work closely with coding teams, providing up-to-date education and insights from audit findings to support continuous improvement. About You
You are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for data integrity, coding accuracy, and improving healthcare outcomes. With strong technical expertise and a collaborative approach, you're ready to support quality coding and documentation standards at CALHN.

Hold a Diploma of Clinical Coding (HLT50321) or equivalent, with demonstrated advanced competency in ICD-10-AM

Bring experience in clinical coding auditing, documentation improvement, and staff education in a large healthcare setting

Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships and contribute to a team-focused environment
