Key Responsibilities

· Reviewing medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.

· Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies.

· Educating staff on best practices for clinical documentation and coding.

· Analysing trends and providing insights to improve documentation processes and outcomes.

· Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.



Qualifications/ Skills

· Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Current Registration;

· Certification as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS or CDIP) (preferred);

· Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and regulatory requirements;

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and

· Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
