Description

Do you have an eye for detail, strong clinical knowledge, and a passion for accurate documentation?

We are seeking Registered Nurses who want to step into a specialised role focused on clinical documentation and compliance – helping us deliver the highest quality care while freeing our Care Managers to focus on leading their teams.

Why This Role is Different

This isn’t just another RN role on the floor. As a Clinical Documentation RN, you’ll:

  • Specialise in documentation – care plans, assessments, progress notes, and compliance records.

  • Partner with Clinical Manager – ensuring they have accurate, timely documentation to support clinical decision-making.

  • Work smarter – with reduced physical demands and more structured, professional hours.

  • Drive quality outcomes – your work directly supports accreditation, funding, and safe, person-centred care.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rates + KPI bonus structure recognising performance and accuracy.

  • Flexible working arrangements – part-time or full-time opportunities.

  • Professional growth – training in advanced clinical governance and quality systems (Leecare, Assurance, QPS Benchmarking).

  • Supportive team culture – work alongside experienced Care Managers, Clinical Coordinators, and Quality staff.

  • The chance to shape a new RN career pathway – perfect for RNs who want to use their knowledge differently.

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

  • Strong clinical knowledge across aged care and/or chronic conditions.

  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Confidence using clinical software (Leecare experience desirable but training provided).

  • A passion for quality, compliance, and resident-centred care.

Your Impact

By focusing on documentation, you’ll give our residents a stronger voice in their care, ensure our teams deliver consistent best practice, and help Hunter Valley Care stay at the forefront of aged care quality.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a new approach to nursing in aged care – one that values precision, governance, and professional contribution as much as bedside care.
